Step by Step: February 2007

My sister is back......, Dublin...... and some uni staff

Hello,

Since one week Kathi is back in the good old home country, Germany :) and she is already off to.......of course to Moritz, her horse! Kathi, "I miss you! Really looking forward to the 16th of March :)!"

Next Friday I'm flying to Dublin! Ohhh, that will be such an awesome weekend - discovering this irish city!

I shouldn't forget the uni ;) - until end of April I have to write 4 more essay, really a lot. Anyway the next weeks until end of term I will do a lot of research for them and then trying to write them at home! Hopefully, Kathi won't distract me too much ;)

Ok, now I'm off to Leamington "city centre" to buy some fabulous staff for the Score party. This time the topic is Kids-TV: Liz (she plays rugby) and I will dress up as Asterix and Obelix! Luckly, I will be Asterix :)

On Wednesday we cooked or Kaj :) cooked a huge meal for us - Chicken with tomato and mozzarella, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and salat. For dessert: cheese, grapes and cookies!
It was sooooo delicious!

Part II of Tinchen's and Julchen's weekend

On Monday at lunch time Tinchen was leaving :(!
Before we had a typical english breakfast - bacon, eggs and toast.......hmmmmm.
It was such a great weekend after 6 month not seeing Tinchen!

On Sunday we went to Campus and Kenilworth! It was sunny :) and a really nice day!

Actually, we planned to go to the "I love 70s" - Time tunnel party in the union, but we had too much fun at home and in the end it was too late to go to campus! Anyway we took these random pics with our self-made t-shirts ("I love UK" and"I love DK")!

That was a typical Tinchen and Julchen weekend - relaxing, with lots of fun and lots of food!

On Friday I picked up Tinchen from the BHX Airport and then we discovered Leamington Spa. In the evening we had a huge chinese cooking session - the dinner was amazing and of course a girly evening/night ("quatsch, quatsch, quatsch")...........

On Saturday we went to Warwick and Stratford: We went for an afternoon coffee and took lots of pics.
Ahhhh, not to forget we bought the ducks (Lewis and Pamela) :), which my mum and dad want to have while they were in England visiting me!
The time was running - and finally, it was Saturday night..........there was a concert in the Parish church and of course we had another cooking session at my place.

So these are the plans for the next few weeks:

Tinchen is comin in exactly 3 1/2 days, jipi!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooo looking forward to this!
I know that will be an awesome weekend!

My sister is comin back from NZ on Friday, but "only" to Germany :).........I would love to see her!!!!!

In 2 1/2 weeks I'm goin to Dublin with Liz, wowwwww!
The weekend after there's the hockey ball (topic: "With a hint of pink") - oh no....but anyway.......

At the last weekend of term Kathi is comin over. Oh, I can't wait....... - after nearly 6 months I will see my sister again! On 19th of March we are both flying together back home :)

Really the time is running - 5 more weeks and then the term is over and then I'm goin home and writing 4 essays during the holidays :(

3rd day: Birmingham

First day with sunshine :)
At 5pm Mum and Dad flew back to Germany, but the flight was late due to heavy rain in Germany. They had to fly to Hannover instead to Hambourg...horrible trip - anyway the weekend was great!

3/4 of the family, but Kathi is missing :(

2nd day: Warwick & Warwick Castle

Today, rain and cloudy, typical english weather

1st day: Stratford-up Avon, Campus and Royal Leamington Spa

My parents arrived on Thursday night, it was snowing and the plane was already late - England doesn't really know what to do if it's snowing, they are only use to rain ;)
On Friday we went to Stratford - we were wet all over. We went to an english tea room. In the afternoon we drove to the Campus of the Uni!

What a sunny, snowy and rainy long weekend - my parents could enjoy every weather situation!
It was such a great weekend - we went every evening for dinner and afterwards to a pub!

I woke up today.....everything was white - fabulous!
In the afternoon I went for a snow walk with some friends, it was so nice and white! Finally, it's winter in England!
