Erst einmal für ein Jahr im Königreich und dann mal sehen wo es mich hinziehen wird.....auf jeden Fall im Oktober wieder in Bamberg - vorher und nachher; wer weiß schon, wo einen der Wind hintragen wird.

Exam marathon :) begins

In less than 5 days my exams start and last until the 8th of June - wow that will be a tough time. I'm sooooo looking forward to that Friday - Stress is over and my mum and I are going to Cornwall.

The last weeks I have studied (nothing more to tell) but anyway I haven't stopped having fun. I went several times out for drinks with friends - if you know me :) I can't survive without seeing people and just enjoying life. Last Saturday was Anne's Birthday and that was really an amazing night.

However, I'm really sad to leave Warwick, I can't imagine not to come back next year! I will miss my hockey girls (and the training sessions), the people I met here (especially my amazing housemates ;) and Lisa) and of course Warwick Uni (the best uni ever :)). It has been such a great year full of experience in terms of studying and socialising.

6 weeks to go.......

The summer is coming even here in England. Too bad, but I'm sitting in my room or either in the library and have to (also want to ;)) study - trust me studying can also be fun. That's the great thing I have learned at Warwick Uni - I enjoy my studies.

My study environment at home

Last Wednesday I went the last time to Score (the sports party). It was really great but also sad that I wouldn't come back next year, play hockey and play these crazy drinking games. I don't even wonna think about saying goodbye - not yet.

Now it's been 7 months that I have studied at Warwick and it was and still is an amazing time which I will never forget. In 3 weeks my exams start. From the 29th till the 8th I write 6 exams. After that week my mum is coming over and we are discovering Cornwall - the beautiful South West coast of England.

Spring break - Amrum holidays

After writing 4 essays in the last term, I was looking forward to go back home and relax a bit. Anyway, I had to write 4 more essays during the holidays - that was really hard to manage because the distraction was high (my sister, my parents and the beautiful summer weather). But I finished three and have still one more to go until next week. The holidays were fanatastic: I spend a lot of time with my family, went to several internship interviews and visit my grandmother in Düsseldorf.

News:

1. My dream came true: I got an internship at L'Oréal :) in the Brand Marketing department
I was sooooo happy.......from Mid of July until Mid of October

2. Katharina (my sister) got a place in Würzburg to study dentist medicine :)
From October onwards it is just one hour away from Bamberg........you can not imagine how relieved I was

Now 5 weeks of studying - on the 29th of May my exams (6 exams) will start and least until the 7th of June. After the exams my mum will come to the UK. Ultimaltely, we will travel to Cornwall for a week, wow I'm so looking forward to it as I have always planned to go there.
Mid of June I will be back in Germany.........

Hugs, Julia

On Friday I picked her up at the airport. We hadn't seen each other for more than 5 months (becuase of her Newzealand-Trip). It was so nice to have her back :) It was such a sister weekend. On Monday we flew back together!

Second day in Dublin

On Saturday was sightseeing day: First we went to a really interesting church which seemed to be a "normal" house, then we discovered Trinity College and the Books of Kells. The weather was fabulous! We also did some shopping! After a hard day of walking through Dublin, we went for our first beer before going fordinner with Jaqueline.
Afterwards we went to another pub, of course :)
